Fran Bergere has lived in Talbot County for 25 years. During that time she has managed her own interior custom window design business; Glorious Windows.

Fran’s interest in politics began in earnest around the time of the 2004 election. She became actively engaged in the Bush/Cheney campaign under the direction of Barbara “Bobi” Kendall who, at the time, was the Chair of the RCCTC. In subsequent years, Fran worked with Kate Boland, who succeeded Bobi Kendall as Chair of the RCCTC. Fran worked on numerous campaigns, including Presidential, Gubernatorial, and Senate campaigns. She has continued to serve in many capacities of campaign management including voter registration, volunteer organization, and get-out-the-vote activities, among others.

Fran is a past president of the Mid-Shore League of Republican Women and has helped to grow the organization as Membership chairman since. Fran received the Barbara “Bobi” Kendall Outstanding Service Award for her many political activities.

In addition to her business and political activities, Fran has participated in volunteer activities with Friends of Hospice, Festival of Trees, Talbot County Garden Club, and for many years was an active member of St. Paul’s in Trappe.

Fran and her husband, Paul, have a daughter, Jill, and three grandchildren who reside in Cincinnati.

She and her husband live in Trappe on Bolingbroke Creek with their two cats, Zeus and Raj.
